Barlows Landing

Barlows Landing Road, Pocasset, MA 02559
A swimmer exits the water at Barlows Landing in Bourne, Cape Cod.

Sitting on the protected shores of Pocasset Harbor, Barlows Landing is a great beach for boaters, families or sightseers looking to catch a sunset. The ramp on the southern end of the beach is a popular spot for launching boats, with easy access to Buzzards Bay as well as the Cape Cod Canal. The calm waters and picnic area are great for kids, and crowds are generally light due in part to the limited parking. A resident parking sticker is required to use the lot, so you may want to consider nearby Monument Beach if you’re visiting, or Old Silver Beach in Falmouth for a day trip.
