Chatham Beaches

Sitting at the elbow of Cape Cod, Chatham features a number of great swimming beaches on Nantucket Sound as well as scenic beaches facing the Atlantic. Almost all Chatham beaches are accessible without a parking sticker. The “big three”: Cockle Cove, Harding’s Beach and Ridgevale Beach offer daily parking at a reasonable rate, while most of the smaller town beaches are free.

Chatham beach passes or a daily fee are required to park from June 26th through Labor Day. Passes can be used at all Chatham beaches with the exception of Schoolhouse Pond, which requires a seasonal resident pass.
