If you’re looking for an easy, family friendly beach in Chatham, Harding’s beach is your best bet. Extending over a quarter mile long, there’s usually enough room to stretch out or take a swim in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. The parking lot is massive, and every spot has easy access to the beach. If you’re adventurous, Stage Harbor Lighthouse sits a mile down the beach and is well worth the scenic hike through the dunes or along the waterline. Food trucks service the parking lot in-season.
Parking: 400 spaces
- Daily $20
- Weekly $75
- Season $175
- Season (Resident) $30
Chatham beach passes or a daily fee are required to park from June 26th through Labor Day. Passes can be used at all Chatham beaches with the exception of Schoolhouse Pond, which requires a seasonal resident pass.
