Harding’s Beach

Hardings Beach Road, Chatham, MA 02633
An empty lifeguard tower sits on a sunny afternoon at Harding's Beach in Chatham, Cape Cod.

If you’re looking for an easy, family friendly beach in Chatham, Harding’s beach is your best bet. Extending over a quarter mile long, there’s usually enough room to stretch out or take a swim in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. The parking lot is massive, and every spot has easy access to the beach. If you’re adventurous, Stage Harbor Lighthouse sits a mile down the beach and is well worth the scenic hike through the dunes or along the waterline. Food trucks service the parking lot in-season.
