Between the large family-friendly beaches, more intimate neighborhood beaches of Harwich Port and multiple freshwater ponds, Harwich has a little something for everyone. Almost all of the public beaches are on Nantucket Sound and feature warmer waters, gentle waves, soft sand and panoramic ocean views.

Harwich beach stickers are required to park at town beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beach parking lots are free all other times. Weekly and seasonal passes can be used at all Harwich beaches. Day passes are sold at and valid only for Earle Road Beach, Pleasant Road Beach, Red River Beach and Long Pond.
