Located off Pleasant Lake Avenue just south of the Harwich/Brewster town line, Seymour’s Pond is a small stretch of beach on a freshwater pond. The right side of the beach can be used to launch sailboats and kayaks. There’s very limited parking, but the beach is located alongside the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path, making it a popular spot for bikers to stop and relax. Nearby Long Pond has a larger parking lot and offers daily parking.

Harwich beach stickers are required to park at town beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beach parking lots are free all other times. Weekly and seasonal passes can be used at all Harwich beaches. Day passes are sold at and valid only for Earle Road Beach, Pleasant Road Beach, Red River Beach and Long Pond.
