Located on the largest pond on Cape Cod, Long Pond Beach is great for kids and adults of all ages. The freshwater pond is popular among boaters and Long Pond Beach has a ramp to the west side of the beach for launching boats, kayaks and canoes. There’s a roped off swimming area protected by lifeguards that is excellent for kids. The large parking lot offers easy access to the beach as well as full restroom facilities.

Harwich beach stickers are required to park at town beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beach parking lots are free all other times. Weekly and seasonal passes can be used at all Harwich beaches. Day passes are sold at and valid only for Earle Road Beach, Pleasant Road Beach, Red River Beach and Long Pond.
