Cahoon Road Beach

Cahoon Rd, Harwich, MA 02645
A sunny summer afternoon at Cahoon Road Beach in Harwich, Cape Cod.

One of two public beaches on freshwater Long Pond, Cahoon Road Beach is generally quieter and less crowded than the more popular Long Pond Beach. There’s an area for launching boats on the northern end of the beach, and a roped off swimming area with lifeguards that is great for young kids. Pine trees on the beach provide a nice shady spot to get out of the sun.
