One of the best kept secrets in Harwich, Bucks Pond is a freshwater beach that is great for canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding or relaxing. The entrance to the public beach is tucked in between houses at the end of Bucks Pond Road and has parking for two cars.

Harwich beach stickers are required to park at town beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beach parking lots are free all other times. Weekly and seasonal passes can be used at all Harwich beaches. Day passes are sold at and valid only for Earle Road Beach, Pleasant Road Beach, Red River Beach and Long Pond.
