Popular with families, kayakers and fishing enthusiasts, Picture Lake is a relaxing sandy beach on a freshwater pond. The dirt parking lot doesn’t have a ton of space, and is limited to residents only, which helps keep the crowds to a minimum. Keep an eye out for posted signage, as elevated bacteria levels in the water have led to closures in recent years.

All Bourne public beach parking lots are resident-only with the exception of Monument Beach. Resident passes are valid at all Bourne beaches.
