One of the most popular beaches in Brewster among tourists and locals alike, Breakwater Beach offers spectacular views of the marshy tidal flats of Cape Cod Bay. Children will enjoy splashing around and searching for sea creatures during low tide. Swimmers will want to wait until high tide to avoid a long walk to the water. Breakwater Landing, just a couple hundred yards further down the street also has beach access via a staircase, as well as 4 additional parking spaces.

A Brewster beach pass is required to park at town beaches between the hours of 9am and 4pm from June 15th through September 1st. Parking is free all other times. Parking enforcement is conducted using plate reader technology and all lots are unattended, so passes must be purchased online in advance. Passes are valid for all Brewster beaches with the exception of First Light Beach, which requires a resident sticker.
