Cahoon Hollow Beach

Crowds take in the view at Cahoon Hollow Beach in Wellfleet, Cape Cod.

One of the more unique and famous beaches on Cape Cod, Cahoon Hollow Beach features breathtaking ocean views, towering dunes and a lively party atmosphere. The crowd here tends to be a bit younger for two reasons: 1) Accessing the beach requires a hike up and down a steep dune. 2) The beach sits below the famous Beachcomber restaurant/bar. There used to be a town parking lot, but erosion took a good chunk of it (along with a car) during a storm in the summer of 2017. So town beach stickers won’t do you any good here. The lots are operated by the Beachcomber, but the good news is the $30 fee can be credited towards your tab at the restaurant or used to buy merchandise. Parking tends to fill up quickly, so arrive early.

Parking: 100+ spaces

  • Daily $30 (Comes with voucher redeemable for food/merchandise at the Beachcomber restaurant)
