Free parking, long stretches of beach to walk, panoramic views of Wellfleet harbor and easy access to nearby restaurants and amenities make Mayo Beach a popular spot for families and visitors of all ages. Kids will enjoy combing the sand for shells, rocks and sea life. Just across the street is a playground, tennis/pickleball courts, skate park and ball fields. There’s also a basketball court to the east end of the parking lot. A number of popular restaurants are within a short walk, as is the Wellfleet town pier with additional free parking.
