The sun goes down on Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, Cape Cod.

One of two National Seashore beaches in Eastham, Coast Guard Beach is a popular spot for swimming, walking and hiking through the marsh trails. Featuring cool water and open views of the Atlantic, keep an eye out for seals and an occasional shark. The small parking area at the beach is closed to visitors in-season, but a large lot just down the road offers convenient shuttle service. You’ll have to pay admission whether you’re parking or on foot, so consider buying a season pass which is good at all 6 National Seashore beaches on the Cape.
