Town Neck Beach

Beachgoers enjoy a summer afternoon at Town Neck Beach in Sandwich, Cape Cod.

One of the most popular beaches in Sandwich, Town Neck Beach features scenic views in all directions. The large parking lot offers easy access to the ocean side beach as well as the marshy beach at the end of the Sandwich Boardwalk. Town Neck can be a bit rocky, making it great for beachcombing and keeping kids entertained. Photographers and nature enthusiasts will enjoy exploring marshy landscape to the south. The beach can get crowded at times but there’s usually enough room to spread out if you don’t mind walking a bit.

A Sandwich beach pass or daily fee is required to park at all Sandwich beaches between the hours of 9am – 5pm from Memorial Day until Labor Day, with the exception of Scusset Beach (fee required May 14th through October 30th). Parking is free all other times.

Resident passes are valid at all Sandwich beaches with the exception of Scusset Beach. Resident passes are also valid for Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable. Non-resident passes are not valid for Scusset Beach, Wakeby Lake at Ryder Conservation, Snake Pond Beach, Peter’s Pond at Oakcrest Cove or Sandy Neck Beach.
