Newcomb Hollow Beach

1175 Gross Hill Rd, Wellfleet, MA 02667
Waves gently roll ashore at Newcomb Hollow Beach in Wellfleet, Cape Cod.

Backed by tall dunes, Newcomb Hollow Beach is a popular oceanside beach featuring cool Atlantic waters that are good for swimming, boogie boarding and surfing. Be aware that this is a very active shark area so pay close attention to lifeguard warnings. Seals can often be seen in the water, and if you’re lucky you might spot a whale. Getting to the beach requires a descent down the dunes, so like many oceanside beaches in Wellfleet it’s not easily accessible for those with disabilities.
