Bass Hole (Grays Beach)
Center Street, Yarmouth Port, MA 02675
One of the most scenic beaches in Yarmouth, Bass Hole (also known as Grays Beach) is a popular spot for families and sightseers alike. Bass Hole is the only public beach in Yarmouth on the bay side of the Cape. The calm waters, tidal pools and playground/picnic area are great for kids. There’s also a long boardwalk that stretches into the marsh that offers some amazing photo opportunities, especially during the spectacular sunsets. The relatively small lot tends to keep the large crowds away. Parking is no longer free, but daily passes are available on-site.
Parking: 55 spaces
- Daily $20
- Weekly $75
- Season $250
- Season (Resident) $35
Yarmouth beach passes are required to park at most town beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Town beach parking lots are free all other times. Weekly and seasonal passes can be used at all Yarmouth beaches with the exception of Dennis Pond (special sticker), and South Middle Beach (resident pass only).
