South Middle Beach

People relax on the shore of South Middle Beach in Yarmouth, Cape Cod.

Featuring soft white sand, gentle warm water and panoramic ocean views, South Middle Beach is a favorite among locals. The large parking area is reserved for residents only, so plan on walking or a drop-off if you’re visiting. It’s also a bit of a hike from the lot to the beach. There are a few public spots on adjacent Judan Way, with access to the same stretch of beach. Smuggler’s Beach, located a quarter mile down the road, is open to everyone and offers daily parking.

Yarmouth beach passes are required to park at most town beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Town beach parking lots are free all other times. Weekly and seasonal passes can be used at all Yarmouth beaches with the exception of Dennis Pond (special sticker), and South Middle Beach (resident pass only).
