Attaquin Park

Lake Avenue, Mashpee, MA 02649
Children play on the beach on a summer afternoon at Attaquin Park in Mashpee, Cape Cod.

Located on the southern shore of freshwater Mashpee pond, Attaquin Park is a popular beach for all ages. The calm, shallow water and playground on the beach are great for young children. Older kids will enjoy the baskeball court. There’s also a grassy picnic area with grills. The beach area is relatively large compared to the parking lot, so overcrowding is rarely an issue. There’s no option for daily visitor parking, so make sure to purchase a weekly pass from the town ahead of time.

Parking: 45 spaces

  • Weekly $50
  • Season (Resident) $30

A weekly visitor pass or seasonal resident pass is required to park at all town-owned Mashpee beaches from mid-June until Labor Day. Passes are valid for Attaquin Park, John’s Pond and the town lot at South Cape Beach.
