East Sandwich Beach I

147 N Shore Boulevard, East Sandwich, MA 02537
A seagrass lined pathway leads to East Sandwich Beach I in Sandwich, Cape Cod.

Tucked into the seaside neighborhood of North Shore Boulevard, East Sandwich Beach I is the smaller sister beach of East Sandwich Beach II. There are private beaches on both sides, so there isn’t a ton of room to roam, but the relatively small parking areas help to prevent overcrowding. Getting to the beach requires a climb through the dunes, so you might want to consider more handicapped friendly beaches like First Beach or Sandy Neck Beach if accessibility is an issue.

There is parking for about 8 cars in front of the entrance to the beach in addition to a larger parking area 100 yards down the road that has a kiosk for purchasing parking passes as well as a portable toilet. There are also spots that line the road designated for beach passholders.
